Heartlands Project - Pool Cornwall

A community led project to transform one of Cornwall's most derelict urban areas into a truly inspirational cultural landscape.

Kerrier District Council are the lead authority, working with English Partnerships. The project is being managed using PRINCE2™.

It has three main elements. Creation of Heartlands Park in the centre of Pool. Development of Robinson's Shaft as a gateway to the newly established World Heritage Site. Major improvements to Pool including cycleways, new pedestrian routes and a village green.
